Chief Executive Officer, President, Co-founder and Chairman of the Board
Mr. Faitelson is responsible for leading the management, strategic direction and execution of the Varonis vision. With extensive cross-functional experience in storage, networking, operating systems and application software, Mr. Faitelson saw the necessity and opportunity for next generation data management and protection automation. Together, Mr. Faitelson and Mr. Korkus conceived and architected the metadata framework technology that now serves as the foundation for the Varonis Data Governance Suite, and are creators of several patents for permissions visualization, simulation, and data analysis. Under his leadership, the software company has experienced hyper growth, cultivated a worldwide installation base and forged a leading position in the data governance market. Prior to Varonis, Mr. Faitelson held leadership positions in the global professional services and systems integration divisions of NetVision and Network Appliance.
Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer
Mr. Melamed serves as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer for Varonis. He is responsible for global operations, executing business strategies and financial management, including legal, treasury, investor relations and purchasing. Prior to becoming Chief Financial Officer, Mr. Melamed served in various finance roles within the company since 2011, most recently as Vice President of Finance, during which time he was responsible for financial planning, reporting and operations and was instrumental in building and managing the global finance organization. Prior to joining Varonis, Mr. Melamed held positions at Ernst & Young as an Audit Manager and KPMG, working with both foreign and domestic public and private companies. Mr. Melamed holds both a B.A and M.S.A from Boston College and is a Certified Public Accountant in the U.S. and Israel.
Executive Vice President of Engineering and Chief Technology Officer
Mr. Bass is responsible for all of Varonis' products development and quality assurance. Under his leadership, the company has assembled a world-class engineering organization with deep experience spanning digital collaboration, storage, networking and security. Prior to Varonis, Mr. Bass held managerial development positions in NetVision Internet Applications and as an independent contractor.
Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales
Mr. O'Boyle is responsible for developing and growing the Varonis business through high performance sales teams and strategic channel partnerships in worldwide markets. Prior to joining Varonis, Mr. O'Boyle held leadership roles at Neoteris/Netscreen (acquired by Juniper), BlueCoat Systems and Wellfleet/Bay Networks (acquired by Nortel). He holds a B.S. degree in computer science from the University of Scranton.
CIO and Vice President of Technical Services
As Vice President of Technical Support, Professional Services and IT, Mr. Raz is responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction through successful deployment and continued operation of Varonis products. Prior to Varonis, Mr. Raz held roles at Network Appliance and NetVision, assisting customers with highly technical pre and post sales deployments of networking and storage infrastructure.
Chief Marketing Officer
Mr. Gibson is responsible for building brand awareness, aligning product functionality with market demand, and driving sales through marketing, education, as well as direct pre and post sales efforts. Since joining Varonis, Mr. Gibson has held positions as sales engineer, sales engineer manager, and director of technical marketing. Prior to Varonis, Mr. Gibson was a NY systems engineer for Tripwire, and worked as a network management and security engineer at International Integrated Solutions, ltd. Mr. Gibson has worked in the IT industry for over 15 years.
Vice President of Global Field Engineering
As Vice President, Mr. Spinner is responsible for all Pre and Post Sales Engineering activities. In this position, Mr. Spinner oversees all field technical activities with customers and partners, focusing on driving customer success through consultative pre and post-sales engagements. Since joining Varonis in 2006, Ken's team has helped customers develop industry-leading Data Governance strategies and implementation plans, resulting in significant risk reduction and operational efficiencies. Mr. Spinner career spans 28 years with previous leadership roles at Neoteris/Netscreen (acquired by Juniper), BlueCoat Systems and Merck and Company. He holds a B.A. degree from Rutgers University.
Vice President and General Counsel
Mr. Gerson is responsible for legal and compliance matters at Varonis. Prior to joining Varonis, Mr. Gerson was a Senior Corporate Counsel in the legal department at Amdocs for seven years. Prior to that, Mr. Gerson was a partner in the Corporate Department of Kirkland & Ellis LLP, a leading international law firm. Mr. Gerson holds a J.D. degree from Washington University School of Law and a BA from University of Pennsylvania.
Vice President of Human Resources
Ms. Shahar is responsible for all aspects of Human Resources at Varonis from recruiting to employee relations, leadership and organizational development. Prior to Varonis, Ms. Shahar lead "Intoto Solutions"- an HR consulting company providing HR services and consulting to small businesses. Prior to that, she served as VP of Human Resources at Radcom where she led HR activities for nine years. Ms. Shahar holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications and Behavioral Science and a Masters in Social Psychology from Bar-Ilan University.
Mr. Kaysar is the Chief Architect at Varonis, leading the development of the architecture roadmap at Varonis. Formerly the Director of Core Engineering, Mr. Kaysar has been with Varonis for over 10 years, developing new methods to classify and analyze enterprise data, and also has over 20 years' experience in developing high volume backend distributed software, specializing in both startup and enterprise environments. Mr. Kaysar holds a B.Sc. in Computer Science and a B.A. in Business Administration from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
Vice President of Product Management
Ms. Bronner is the VP of Product Management at Varonis, leading the strategic planning and development of Varonis products and services. Ms. Bronner has over 15 years of experience in software development and product and project management.
Prior to Varonis, Ms. Bronner led product management, analysis, and user experience for large and medium enterprises, founded and led a mobile platform startup utilizing business logic and data, and managed big data and cyber projects for the Israel Defense Forces. Ms. Bronner holds a M.Sc. in Technology Management and a B.A. in Management and Finance from Tel Aviv University.
